Guest Service Agent
Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Guest Service Agent to join our team and provide exceptional service to our guests. As a Guest Service Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive guest experience from check-in to check-out. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, including handling reservations and room assignments.
- Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Operate phone systems to handle incoming calls, take messages, and redirect calls as needed.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless communication and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area for a welcoming atmosphere.
- Perform night audit duties as required to reconcile daily transactions and ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality or front desk operations is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle various guest situations professionally.
- Knowledge of hotel management practices and procedures.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus.
