Position purpose:
We are looking for an Actuary to join our team and provide actuarial support for a leading Utah personal lines insurer. You will be responsible for performing data analysis, developing predictive models, and preparing reports for management and regulators. You will collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to create innovative solutions for business needs.

Essential job functions and basic duties:
- Analyze data to evaluate company performance and profitability by line of business.
- Develop and maintain predictive models and tools for pricing, reserving, forecasting, and reporting purposes.
- Design and lead implementation of rating plans and underwriting processes, working with IT to specify needs and test development and solutions.
- Assist in new opportunities with technology partners and assessing performance of existing partners.
- Provide actuarial input and recommendations to support business decisions and strategic initiatives across the organization.
- Monitor and assess the impact of changes in regulatory, economic, and competitive environments.
Job Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS or FCAS)
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field
Required Knowledge:
Experience in use of Earnix, Emblem, Python, RStudio, or other modeling software for insurance pricing. Advanced computing skills (Excel, SQL, etc.)
Experience Required:
Willing to consider all levels of experience that meet the qualifications above
