PB Loader Corporation, a leading manufacturer of Truck-Mounted Loaders, Asphalt Patchers, and related equipment, seeks a customer-oriented, motivated, and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join its dynamic team in Fresno, California.
This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, facilitating stock movements, and reporting any discrepancies to management. Duties include record keeping; assessing materials are the correct quantity, quality, and tracking correct movement; performing regular cycle counts; and order picking from stock. We are looking for a team player who is dependable, professional, and has exceptional customer service skills to join our ever evolving organization. Additionally, will be responsible for maintaining general warehouse upkeep.

Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Comply with all manufacturing safety rules and guidelines.
- Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transportation vehicles.
- Operates electric pallet jack, utility cart, and other machinery to move items.
- Identify material is the correct item, quantity, and quality against records to verify accuracy.
- Operate Company ERP computer system to accurately transact inventory utilizing workstation or scan gun.
- Correctly tag material with printed label, or manually write part number, work order number, or job name as needed.
- Picking orders from storage shelves and properly stage for internal or external customers using printed pick lists, workstation, and/or scan gun.
- Monitoring stock in Production consumable bins and replenishing as necessary.
- Conduct regular cycle counts under direction from Inventory Specialist and/or Supervisor and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Inventory Specialist, and/or Supervisor to rectify any problems, such as shortages, damages, or nonconformance to specifications.
- Ensure Inventory is well organized and stored in the correct locations.
Supporting Duties, but not limited to:
- Assist in Receiving and Production Departments as required.
- Comply with company policy and all state and local regulations.
- Adheres to policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Attends and actively participates in required meetings.
The desired candidate will possess these qualifications:
Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics.
- Experience in operating ERP computer system preferred.
Certificates and Licenses
- Valid Driver’s License required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be able to work well in a team.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions, and work independently with little guidance.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to operate computers and relevant computer software.
- Ability to analyze information, evaluate results to choose the best decision, and solve problems.
- Ability to establish and maintain rapport with diverse population.
- Customer service and detail oriented.
- Dependability in attendance and work ethic.
- Proactive involvement in the company’s Safety Program, including compliance with all rules and regulations.

Work Environment
This position occasionally functions in a shop or manufacturing environment. Due to the nature of this work environment, there is frequent, threatening exposure to health and safety hazards including forklifts and other moving equipment, noise levels associated with moving equipment and heavy machinery, working at heights, extreme temperatures and humidity, and dust, gas, and fumes.
