About Us
We are a growing group practice seeking a skilled and motivated child and adolescent therapist to join our team. This is a part-time position that is hybrid and flexible. We offer a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where you can make a real difference in the lives of children, teenagers, and their families.
The Role
In this role, you will provide individual, or family therapy to children and adolescents experiencing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges. You will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.
- Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
- Collaborating with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the child's life.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed case notes.
- Engaging in ongoing professional development.
We are looking for a therapist who is:
- Licensed in California to practice as a therapist with children and adolescents.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting.
- Independent, resourceful, and flexible.
- Computer savvy and need little to no assistance with online platform.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
- Resourceful and proactive in problem-solving.
- Culturally competent and committed to providing inclusive care.
