Job Title: Temporary Members Record Associate, 3-6 month assignment

JOB DESCRIPTION
Under general supervision, the Members Records Associate B will report to the Supervisor and work closely with various internal and external stakeholders and be responsible for various duties, including but not limited to the following:
- Verify Local 3 Employer contribution reporting
- Resolve discrepancies by communicating with outside vendors
- Determine members general eligibility
- Handle and assist membership through customer service
- May be required to perform other duties as necessary
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office – Customer-Service Center environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop computers, phone, headset, scanner, printer, keyboard, photocopiers, shredder and fax.
Physical Demands
Sedentary work environment with physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this job. This would require the ability to lift files, pull files/ forms /books, stand, bending, shred documents, open/close filing cabinets as necessary.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Must have excellent customer service skills, in-person and over the telephone
- Must possess strong communication skills to interact with Local 3 membership, internal departments, supervisor and fellow co-workers
- Must have decent computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to meet certain goals and expectations
- Must be able to follow procedures and maintain an overall acceptable attendance record
