Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking an energetic, proactive, and agile Manager to join our dynamic and evolving PMO team supporting a government customer. The Manager will operate in a supervisory role responsible for the successful administration, development, and maintenance of the staffing lifecycle, day-to-day operations staffing support, and working with the team on staffing innovation through current policy and processes in a fluid environment. Customer expertise, strong organizational skills, ability to establish and continue to build relationships, and concisely synthesize data to meet customer expectations are key attributes for success! This position requires the Manager to work at our PMO on-site in Chantilly, VA.
The Manager will support the PMO with the following activities:
- Work directly with Program Manager to ensure program staffing issues are resolved in a timely manner
- Manage customer staffing portal & separate staffing portal for subcontractors
- Develop and manage customer reporting ( track arrivals/departures, interviews)
- Write and edit candidate staffing matrices to submit to the customer
- Analyze overall program resources to identify shortfalls and deficiencies
- Coordinate efforts with HR, Security, and other Functional Areas to complete on-boarding activities for new hires
- Assist with onboarding activities, to include integrating new employees with identified team
- Processes hiring, clearance, badging, and system access actions; schedules re-familiarization and role-based training; and compiles Onboarding Packet
- The Manager will also serve as a line manager for individual contributors supporting the customer. Responsibilities include interviewing, selection and hiring planning, approving timesheets, authoring and discussing performance appraisals with employees; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; employee motivation and rewards
Qualifications
- TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required
- 6+ years of experience
- Previous experience supporting a Program Management Office
- Excellent communication skills are required in order to engage with customer and employees
- Strong writing skills are necessary in order to write candidate matrices
- Understanding of the IC/customer's unique skillsets Target Salary Range
$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
