Housekeeper
Reports to: EVP of Residential Compliance & Operations
Location: Pittsburgh
Hours: Full time,40 hours per week, hourly position
MISSION AND NEED: Holy Family Institute (HFI) is a 120-year-old Catholic organization with an impeccable history of serving children and families in the Pittsburgh Region. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness of the houses, classrooms, and common areas.
General Statement of Duties:
· Clean houses, classrooms, common areas, and bathrooms
· Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting.
· Dispose of trash
· Maintain infection control protocols according to regulation
· Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
· Notify supervisor of any damages and items/areas in poor condition
· Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
· Check stocking levels replace when appropriate
· Complete laundry from intakes of children
· Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
· Maintain outstanding customer service
· Work on schedule to ensure houses/facilities are cleaned according to schedule and need
· Complete all trainings as required by agency, program, and governing agencies
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of housekeeping preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license
- Act 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
