Are you looking to work in Lake Tahoe for the Summer? This is the job for you! We are looking for enthusiastic candidates to provide courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service in all areas of the store.
We have three (3) open positions.
1. Deli/coffee bar
2. Cashier
3. General Market stocking.
You can work one or all three positions. Your pay is dependent on your desired workload!
General Responsibilities
· Courteously greet customers and provide them friendly service
· Be knowledgeable about the products and their placement in the market
· Provide outstanding customer service
· Be knowledge about our products in the delicatessen and have an awareness of the products in the general market
· Monitor product quality and freshness and ensure proper product rotation
· Maintain a clean and well-organized work area
· Keep all food cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and properly rotated
· Complete product spoilage and transfer records, as necessary
· Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
· Perform opening, shift change and closing duties as assigned
· Arrive to scheduled shifts on time, appropriately groomed and dressed and ready to work
· Comply with our dress code and good sanitary food-preparation standards
· Check out customers accurately and efficiently
· Assist other cashiers and customers to reduce the amount of time customers wait in line at the checkout counter

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions
· Must be able to lift 20 pounds
· Must be able to stand or walk 8 hours in an 8-hour workday
· Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. Use box cutters and other tools, as necessary
· Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
· Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
· Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezers), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit
· Ability to work in wet and dry conditions.
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including, weekends, and holidays as necessary
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal
Pay: $16.50 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
