As the Packaging Engineer, you will be responsible for leading & implementing improved packaging solutions throughout the organization. Your primary objective will be to optimize the packaging designs to improve quality & reduce overall supply chain costs. You will play a crucial role in driving improved value for our customers and AZEK.
- Design, Develop and Implement packaging for key products
- Develop protocols and procedures as well as lead testing to comply with appropriate testing standards
- Conduct on-site audits of potential packaging suppliers
- Conduct on-site management of packaging optimization projects at key suppliers
- Lead troubleshooting with packaging materials at AZEK manufacturing facilities
- Liaison for troubleshooting of packaging materials at key AZEK OEM suppliers
- Work directly with Marketing and Product Management on the artwork design of packaging materials
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in Packaging or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment
- Strong Project Management experience across cross-functional teams
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, MS Oce Prociency, MRP, JD Edwards
