Talent Acquisition Specialist
Position Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and onboarding top drivers for our organization. This position involves managing the full recruitment cycle, from screening applications to coordinating interviews and facilitating the onboarding process. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a deep understanding of recruitment best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Screening Applications:
- Utilize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Fountain, to meticulously review and screen applications, ensuring only the most qualified candidates progress through the recruitment process.
- Assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit based on job requirements and company standards.
- Interview Process Support:
- Assist in organizing and coordinating the interview process, including scheduling interviews with managers, directors, and other key stakeholders.
- Participate in interviews to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and alignment with our company values.
- Provide timely feedback to candidates and maintain clear communication throughout the interview process.
- Candidate Assessment and Market Analysis:
- Collaborate with the Program Manager, Supply, to analyze market needs and determine the number of candidates required for specific roles and locations.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates to meet ongoing staffing needs.
- Onboarding Process Assistance:
- Facilitate the smooth onboarding of new driver candidates through our HR system, Paycor.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct onboarding sessions to acclimate new hires to company policies, procedures, and culture.
- Collaboration and Offer Management:
- Work closely with hiring managers and HR staff during the offer process to identify candidate availability, proposed start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Negotiate offers, communicate with candidates, and manage any pre-employment requirements.
- Additional Duties:
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the Talent Acquisition and HR teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.

- Proficiency with applicant-tracking software (ATS) and other recruitment systems.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and tools as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
- Professional Experience:
- Experience managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with the transportation or logistics industry is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Work Environment:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to occasionally travel for recruitment events or meetings as needed.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
