Job Title: Manufacturing Systems Analyst
JOB SUMMARY
Tex-Isle Inc., which is a Houston-based industry leading supplier and manufacturer of steel pipes and tubes, is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Analyst in their corporate office in Houston with track record of transforming operations and shopfloor systems at fortune 500 industrial manufacturing organizations.
Key Responsibilities
As the Manufacturing Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing current systems and processes used to manage manufacturing operations and shop floor systems. Your responsibilities will include identifying opportunities for technology-enabled improvements, designing, building, and supporting technology solutions to drive value extraction.
You will leverage your superior technical skill and track record of transforming manufacturing operations by integrating OT solutions with business systems. Drawing upon your deep process expertise, you will engage effectively with shop floor work center leads, supervisors, managers, and other business leaders. You will bring your knowledge of industry best practices used to support lean operations and your awareness of the opportunities offered by new technologies.
In your role as Manufacturing Systems Analyst, you will also have a keen understanding of the industry technology landscape, enabling you to architect secure, sustainable, and leading-edge solutions. Ultimately, your contributions will drive operational efficiencies and improve business outcomes for the organization.
Here is what you will get to do on day-to-day basis:
- Support existing manufacturing and shop floor solutions by engaging at all levels to identify and resolve issues and to document and create opportunities for continuous improvements
- Working as technical and process lead, collaborate with plant teams and product vendors to implement new operations and shop floor solutions in alignment with technology strategy.
- Work with business leads and technical teams to define data and reporting requirements and to develop and deploy related dashboards and reporting solutions
- Collaborate effectively with the business leaders and users to drive ongoing data quality improvements through proper maintenance of master data and timely and accurate processing of transactions
- Create project plans, track, and communicate project status, and escalate any key risks to business clients, technology management, and leadership
- Train and support key business users and the end user community on the Operations, Quality, Plant
Maintenance, Technical Services, and other teams.
Qualifications
- What we require:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and supporting digital solutions in manufacturing operations, shop floor execution, plant maintenance, and enterprise resource management systems space.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in implementing major ERP, MES, CMMS, and integrated business solutions.
- 2+ years of real-world hands-on experience in enterprise data solutions (Microsoft Azure and SQL)
- 2+ years of real-world hands-on experience with developing solutions using Microsoft PowerApps
- Working knowledge of programming and integration tools and methodologies (Azure Data Factory,
Python, etc.)
- Working knowledge of ETL and web-based integration services (APIs, IoT, data containers, etc.)
- Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies (Industrial IoT, Digital Twins, Machine Learning, AI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business or 7-10 years' experience working in technical teams, systems, and/or business analyst role.
What we prefer:
- Extensive industrial manufacturing experience with one or more Fortune 500 companies
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Sharepoint, and Jira
- Experience with Cloud technologies like Azure or AWS
Additional Requirements

- Upto 20% travel required to support manufacturing plants
- Ability to work flexible hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary
