*POTENTIAL* To become full time position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Perform dental receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records, including taking payments on occasion
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA regulations
Skills:
- Proficiency in dental office management systems, such as Dentrix software
- Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medical coding
- Experience in dental assisting, including chairside assisting and CAD/CAM technology
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Ability to take accurate dental X-rays
