Job Description:
The IT Analyst (Lab Systems) is a crucial role within our organization and is responsible for supporting and configuring laboratory equipment to ensure successful laboratory testing execution. This role involves managing various laboratory systems and collaborating with global and cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance lab operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and configure laboratory equipment to ensure successful execution of laboratory testing.
- Manage incident, problem, configuration, and change/release management in ServiceNow.
- Deliver and support laboratory systems for Quality Control laboratory operations.
- Author and review validation deliverables in compliance with company and quality regulations.
- Author the Security plan and Security Admin SOP for different laboratory systems.
- Install and configure instruments within Empower, LabVantage, and other systems.
- Communicate with global teams for local adoption and integration of laboratory systems and instruments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support laboratory operations.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues related to lab instruments/printers.
- Cover all local validation deliverables for Concord site, including local adoption and integration of systems.
- Create and maintain all local validation deliverables for the adoption of lab instruments at Concord site.
- Create site validation agreements and reports.
- Develop Security Plans, Security Admin SOPs, Business Continuity Plans (BCP), and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
- Create Installation Verification Instructions (IVI) for instruments.
- Develop Test Plans as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in supporting and configuring laboratory equipment and systems.
- Proficiency in using ServiceNow for incident, problem, configuration, and change/release management.
- Strong background in Quality Control laboratory operations and systems support.
- Experience in authoring and reviewing validation deliverables in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Ability to author Security plans, Security Admin SOPs, Business Continuity Plans, and Disaster Recovery Plans.
- Skilled in installing and configuring laboratory instruments in systems such as Empower and LabVantage.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with global teams and local system integration.
- Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues related to laboratory instruments and printers.
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Understanding of regulatory compliance in a laboratory environment.
- Experience with lab automation technologies.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, particularly within laboratory environments.
