Coordinates and supports quality assurance processes, initiatives, continuous improvement efforts and customer fulfillment. Assists operations and quality management to ensure process control and product conformity is satisfied in accordance with established procedures and policies. Supports organization by performing the following duties. Must be a U.S. Citizen to qualify for this role.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) or equivalent relevant business experience and minimum 2 years' experience in Quality

Experience in an ISO9001 work environment. (AS9100 knowledge / background a plus).

ISO or AS Auditor Certification preferred.
-
Hands on experience in (value-add) product assembly techniques, processes, and work instructions.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a US Citizen due to Naval Contractual Agreements.

Must be able to report to assigned office location during scheduled office workdays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is often required to sit, stand, walk, use computers, read, write, type, use copy machines, file paperwork, use telephones, and utilize written and oral communication to interact with clients, co-workers, and customers.
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force regularly, and occasionally up to 25 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close visual acuity to perform activities such as: inspecting manufactured parts (with and without magnification), preparing/analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus and ability to distinguish colors and color variation of physical parts and components, and in documentation such as work instructions and engineering drawings.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
