Social Thinking - Stevens Creek Center (STSC) is seeking Social Cognitive Specialists (Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, etc.)with experience applying the Social Thinking Methodology and related strategies with individuals with social learning differences. This job is based in our office in San Jose, CA.
Positions currently available:
**Full Time Social Cognitive Specialist (5 days/week)
**Part Time Social Cognitive Specialist (2-4 days/week)
**Hourly Social Cognitive Specialist (2-4 sessions/week)

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Requirements
- Provide small group and individualized instruction
- Create treatment plans for the specific needs of each client
- Successfully communicate and collaborate with students, parents, school teams, and other professionals
- Develop instructional goals and objectives
- Collect and analyze data
- Maintain accurate records including daily notes and progress reports
- Work collaboratively with team members
Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Occupational Therapy (or other relevant fields)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence or other relevant certification (or ability to obtain)
- California License in Speech-Language Pathology or other relevant discipline (or ability to obtain)
- Candidates not in the field of Speech Pathology will need to be fully licensed to be considered
Preferred Requirements
- 2 years experience using Social Thinking concepts in a school or clinical environment
- Experience working with adults
- Experience working with Early Learners (4-7 years)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $83,200.00 - $97,760.00 per year
