Overview
Performa USA are the leaders in State Government Budgeting and Financial Management; working with States and Territories across the US and worldwide, Performa implements unique performance management applications, based on the defined business process of the individual jurisdiction.
We accomplish this using our BIDS financial application framework development environment. Built on Microsoft .NET and SQL Server, BIDS allows us to take any Government process and re-map it into a modern, scalable and supportable environment for the State’s Analysts to work together to produce their budget. Further, we have integrated with the Microsoft Dynamics ERP system to create an end-to-end solution for our clients.
We are looking for our next generation of Senior Development leadership. Having secured multiple new projects across the US and its’ territories, we need people with strong technical experience and even stronger leadership and training capabilities.
In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Subject Matter Expert and Project Manager to learn and understand what is required for a particular State or Territory, and then you will learn how to leverage the power of the BIDS toolsets to rapidly produce prototypes for customer review. From there, you will train and supervise your development team to produce the application components required and ensure a high degree of quality.
All our products work on Agile sprint processes and use Microsoft technologies; our customers are State Government, and our team is the best in the world at doing what we do.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C#, JavaScript, and deep experience in SQL Server databases.
Other Requirements
· Ability to meet government security screening requirements which may be needed in some projects.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications
· Extensive experience in the Microsoft .NET Framework and .NET core/standard, 4.x through current releases
· Have worked on other projects with Government clients where you are a forward-facing consultant, taking feedback and ensuring quality updates to prototypes and products based on that feedback.
· Experience leading a small team of other developers, training them on software development skills and helping them grow and learn more about the projects you are focused on
· Systematic problem solving with clean, modular design thinking.
· Track record of excellence in software engineering, including design, coding, code reviews, testing, and DevOps.
· Effective communication and collaboration in a team environment
· Growth mindset to learn, seek diverse viewpoints, and stay current with industry trends and techniques.
· Startup mentality to move and iterate rapidly, work across disciplines, and focus on customers.
