Make a Difference: Support Youth in Crisis in a Unique Therapeutic Environment
CommUnity Crisis Services and UAY seek a dedicated Program Coordinator to join our innovative program at the Healing Prairie Farm! This therapeutic environment combines nature and evidence-based practices to empower youth facing homelessness, trauma, and mental health challenges.
Oversight:
- Lead through trauma-informed, evidence-based operational processes.
- Support day-to-day operations on our beautiful farm property!
- Collaborate with internal staff and departments to meet program needs.
- Facilitate implementation and maintenance of best practices.
- Supervise frontline Youth Advocates as assigned (may not be immediate responsibility).
Program Operations:
- Coordinate care, case management, and community referrals for youth in crisis.
- Complete timely reports per program contracts.
- Analyze relevant program data to inform processes and procedures.
- Provide supportive counseling, care, and supervision to youth clients as needed.
- Collaborate with and provide support to parents, guardians, and other youth supports in the community.
- Become knowledgeable of program policies and procedures for staff consultation.
- Document client notes / progress in appropriate EHR platform within required timeframes.
Schedule:
- Regular schedule: Monday-Friday 12pm-8pm.
- Flexibility needed: occasional nights, weekend days, and overnights in emergencies (CommUnity promotes flexing time off when emergencies occur).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field (relevant experience may be considered).
- 2+ years of experience working with youth in crisis or a human services setting.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks.
- Desired: Case management experience with youth/families, mental health knowledge, trauma-informed care experience, bilingualism.
Comprehensive Benefits Package:
- Competitive Salary: $55,000-$60,000 annually.
