The Alton located in St. Paul, MN is currently seeking an individual with a passion for the elderly who wants to have a positive impact on the daily lives of our residents and staff. An ideal candidate would possess strong management, staff supervisory, and organizational skills.
Duties include managing the overall daily operations of the assisted living community, including working closely with the caring & professional nursing staff, coordinating resident services, employee scheduling and supervision, marketing, resident admissions, and understanding and enforcement of the Assisted Living regulations.
Preference given to those candidates with minimum two year degree, long term care and management experience. Strong leadership and organizational skills are essential. Current LALD license required.

- At least two year of experience in an assisted living setting preferred
Responsibilities:
- Lead in developing and implementing plans and goals
- Coordinate and supervises daily operations
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Monitor attainment of objectives
- Undertake staffing responsibilities (Scheduling, hiring, training, evaluating)
- Assist in budgeting and monitoring expenses
- Maintain scheduling of events and represent the company when needed
- Provide resident care in accordance with the goals and objectives of the residents' plan of care, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), personal care, bathing, dressing, feeding, medication administration, socialization, and mobility. Provide assistance with ADLs when needed.
- Ensure that all residents' medications are properly administered and reviewed. Maintain records of this activity on the Medication Management System.
- Ensure that all services provided by the residents are provided in accordance with the plan of care. Maintain records of this activity on the Skilled Nursing Facility Care Record.
- Ensure that all services provided by the residents are provided in accordance with the agency's standards and procedures. Maintain records of this activity on the Assisted Living Attendant Record.
- Ensure that all services provided by the residents are provided in accordance with the agency's policies and procedures. Maintain records of this activity on the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
