Job Description:
Reporting to the Dean of Professional Studies, the Director of Early Childhood Workforce Projects will oversee daily grant activities and administration for the College's grants focusing on Early Childhood Education. Current grants include the City of Boston Growing the Early Education and Care Workforce grant and the Massachusetts Career Pathways grant. The person in this position will assure timely completion of deliverables, supervise grant staff, maintain effective communication with the grantors, collaborate with stakeholders, implement grant activities, implement project work plan and timelines, correspondence, and other documents, comply with all regulations/policies, develop and manage budgets under guidance of fiscal manager, complete reports, and collaborate with evaluator. In addition to tasks required by grant guidelines, the person in this role will ensure student voice remains at the center of the work and that the cultural wealth of community members throughout the City of Boston are valued and celebrated. The ability to build positive relationships with project participants, community partners, and employers will be key to the success of the person in this role.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in relevant field (e.g. Education, Communication, Business, etc.).
- Demonstrated project management experience.
- Grant administration experience.
- Experience and/or knowledge of MA community college and workforce systems.
- Experience working across multiple constituencies.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care Credentialing.
- Experience with college enrollment systems.
- Familiarity with Registered Apprenticeships.
- Multi-lingual in Cantonese, Haitian Creole, Mandarin, or Spanish.
- Experience managing teams.
Additional Information:
Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000. Salary will commensurate with education and experience.
This is a grant-funded position. The position is funded through December 2026.
