Overview:
The catering bartender is responsible for the set-up, execution, and breakdown of banquet events. The ideal candidate is professional, personable, adaptable, and able to work in an ever-changing, fast-paced environment. We ask our employees to maintain excellent attendance and availability to work events as scheduled per business need.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $18.50
For PT roles: Benefits: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.

Responsibilities:
Must demonstrate ability to meet the company caliber for excellence in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers and comply with uniform and grooming standards.
- Responsible for serving plated meals to guests and/or replenishing food and attending stations or buffets with the knowledge of what they are serving guests, paying specific attention to any dietary needs.
- Responsible for serving beverages to guests including tableside wine service and optionally the ability to set and tend a standard bar.
- Responsible for assisting in unloading and loading of any equipment, products, or goods at the event venue.
- Must maintain a clear and organized workspace and be ready and willing to assist fellow team members.
- Must maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One or more years of experience as a server in a fine dining, large scale dining facility or similar field preferred.
- Committed to offering exceptional hospitality.
- Detail-oriented with an ability to multitask.
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours.
- Desire to learn and grow in a professional working environment.
