Position Description:
We are looking for an Account Manager/Relationship Manager to join our dynamic and growing team. You will be pioneering our local SBA efforts and working closely with our sales teams to automate, systematize, and greatly improve the SBA Partner Origination channel. You will be the primary point of contact with authorized Referral Partners. In concert with our internal sales team, you will be reviewing SBA 7(a) applications as well as spearheading our small loan, large loan, and SBA express products. Your responsibilities include communicating directly with Referral Partners to grow our Partner originated sales channel. Ensure referral volume is being processed at maximum efficiency internally, and to grow originations through relationship building with our Referral Partners.
Major Areas of Responsibility:

Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between Partner and iBusiness Sales Team.
- Provide proactive updates to Partners on referred applications.
- Manage all reporting needs for Partners.
- Manage internal Partner Application Pipeline in collaboration with internal Sales Team.
- Grow and strengthen relationship and rapport with Partners.
- Optimize Partnership performance – Volume and Efficiencies.
- Collaborate with Partners to meet and exceed set Sales Benchmarks.
- Set and maintain proper expectations with Partners and Applicants.
- Train new partners on Partner Portal, Product guidelines, iBusiness sales process.
- Apply and maintain a thorough understanding of our credit policy, SBA eligibility, and all necessary business practices to provide proper guidance to Partners.
- Execute Partner Commission payments, as dictated by each Partner’s Agreement.
- Manage all set up and due diligence for new partners.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
- Three (3) or more years of Relationship Based Sales experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to maintain and grow business partnerships.
- A thorough knowledge of the SMB financial landscape.
- Three (3) or more years in commercial loan funding, financial analysis, or portfolio management experience.
- Ability to prioritize and operate with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands of the position are typical of those found in a traditional office environment. Employees will not need to walk significant distances nor lift substantial weight. Employee will need to be able to remain seated at a desk for 8-9 hours in a typical workday.
