JOur client is seeking an experienced Inside Sales Associate to join their team on a temp to hire basis in Elk Grove Village. This role requires onsite work M-F, 8am-5pm.

· Provide customer service to internal/external customers on existing sales orders (SO’s) by providing updated order information, processing expedites and accurately answering customer inquiries within one business day
· Provide customer service to internal/external customers on potential orders by either answering the request if the information is available during a call/email or passing the information to Outside Sales so they may pursue an opportunity (lead); emphasis on inbound and outbound call contacts
· Enter new sales orders including all necessary information to be routed with the purchase order (PO) from customers. This includes gathering up to date prints and T&C’s/SQAR’s. SO’s are to be entered in the ERP system the same day the PO arrives from a customer and SO acknowledgement emailed as well.
· Collect and report significant information to Dexter Leadership that may affect company goals, via CRM, face-to-face meetings, email and virtual conferences. Includes specific customer information, competitive activity, market and industry trends and changes, technology innovations, new applications, corporate image and specific needs required to support respective markets and/or specific customers.
· Contribute during Customer Experience, Sales and Marketing meetings as well as various training activities.
· Perform other duties as required.
Requirements:
· 3-5 years of Customer Service/Inside Sales experience.
· Proficient in a systematic approach to customer service, resulting in revenue growth and higher customer satisfaction rating based on net promoter scores (NPS).
· Excellent verbal and email communication skills – 90% of customer interaction will be via phone, virtual conferences and email.
· Superior listening skills: practices attentive and active listening.
