We’re looking for a Purchasing Coordinator/Buyer to ensure our locations have the needed appliance inventory. This role assists the Purchasing team.
Essential Duties
- Create and manage purchase orders to ensure future appliance inventory levels
- Maintain productive relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Obtain price competitive quotes for appliances, calculating costs and product pricing to determine acceptable profit margin to support Sales
- Ensure timely delivery of appliances, transportation logistics, and resolve any issues with vendors
- Monitor inventory and collaborate with Sales to prevent low stock
- Update the business system with vendor price updates, receiving documentation, and product data
Requirements
- Proven experience in purchasing and supply chain coordination
- Proven attention to detail, discipline to ensure work is error free
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders
