Title Quality Control Administrative Assistant/Database Entry

Reports to: QC Manager and Assistant QC Manager
Job Summary:
Ensure a safe working environment and maintain testing records including test reports and various testing databases. Must maintain a professional appearance, communication, and work environment and be able to work with others, including non-Van Eaton Ready Mix personnel. Endeavor to create and enforce a positive culture of safety. Ensure compliance to the Van Eaton Ready Mix QC/QA policies as applied to the assigned area. The majority part of this job will be done on a computer. Must have good computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications, specifically Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Essential Functions:
- Enter test results into the appropriate database accurately. Accuracy is extremely important.
- Type test reports from testing performed at the Van Eaton Ready Mix Lab and Mobile Lab as needed.
- Thorough documentation and organized record keeping of test results and methods being used by the onsite testing of record company, including databases, photographs, test reports and any other record keeping necessary.
- Ensure strict compliance with employment, management, and other company policies, procedures, and principles.
- Maintenance and cleaning of the Van Eaton Ready Mix Lab and assistance with setups for meetings and client presentations.
- Maintain confidentiality with privileged information.
- Present favorable company image to customers and employees.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- This is a Van Eaton Ready Mix “safety sensitive” position.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment. Must be organized.

Qualifications Continued:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and computer skills including creating files and folders and folder organization as instructed.
- Computer usage including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Windows for simple reporting and data recording.
- The ability to use email and to collect test results from outside companies. This will require phone and email conversations with outside companies in order to obtain test results (typically via email).
- Must be presentable and have a good attitude towards fellow employees, customers, and third-party testing companies.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must be able to keep work related materials clean and organized.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). One to two years of related experience and/or a combination of both preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
