South Florida Healthcare Institute is hiring for an evening LPN nursing instructor. We are seeking a Registered Nurse who has experience teaching nursing students in a classroom and clinical environment. The LPN Instructor is responsible for didactic instruction of nursing students in a campus-based setting that meets all program, state and accreditation requirements.
*The EVENING position is Monday-Thursday from 5:30-10:30 PM.*
Position Description:
- Delivers didactic education effectively using the provided course materials
- Delivers in-person classroom instruction using specified course syllabi and resources
- Creates instructional approaches and procedures that will interest students in learning
- Assesses student work in a timely fashion and conveys feedback to students
- Encourages student achievement by demonstrating flexibility in style and work schedule, as well as an enthusiasm for teaching and involving students in the learning process
- Maintains an accurate record of the classroom environment, submits grades and other reports on time, and enforces academic and attendance standards
- Integrates professional, life, and industry experience into learning through fostering the growth of professional abilities, incorporating industry perspectives into lessons, and maintaining active awareness of professional and industry trends and opportunities.
