Joining a group of tenured, certified RNs, the Obstetrics Assistant Nurse Director RN will be responsible for oversight of Labor & Delivery, OB Emergency Department, and OB Triage. The OB Assistant RN Director will report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer CNO and will collaborate with other hospital leadership to effectively lead and manage these fast-paced units. This role will be responsible for unit team-building, development and implementation of unit growth initiatives, in addition to managing unit budget and handling regulatory surveys.
Requirements for this role include:
- Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN); Master’s Degree highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of previous Labor Delivery unit management-level experience.
- Specialty certifications are highly preferred.
- Active California State RN License.
