You Are:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team and provide dedicated support to one of our esteemed clients. As a Data Engineer specializing in client support, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, databases, and analytical solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our client. Your role will involve collaborating closely with the client's internal teams, understanding their data requirements, and delivering high-quality, scalable data solutions to drive their business objectives forward.
The Opportunity:
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements, understanding their business goals and challenges.
- Design and develop robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to efficiently extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the client's data infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain data warehouses, databases, and data lakes, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Develop data models, schemas, and structures to facilitate efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
- Work closely with the client's data scientists and analysts to understand their analytical needs and provide them with clean, curated datasets for analysis.
- Monitor and optimize data pipelines and workflows to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.
- Implement data governance policies and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering, identifying opportunities to enhance the client's data infrastructure and processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the client's teams, assisting them in troubleshooting issues and optimizing their use of data-related tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within our organization to ensure seamless integration and delivery of data solutions to the client.

What you need:
- Proficient in mathematics and calculations.
- Spreadsheet tools such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- knowledge of Tableau or PowerBI
- Operating Systems and software platforms
- Knowledge about customer domain and also sub domain where problem is solved
- Code version control e.g. git, bitbucket, etc.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $60,000-$98,000
Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits. Depending on the role, some associates may also be eligible for stock options.
