**Job Overview:**
The Los Angeles Event Coordinator will play a crucial role in organizing and promoting AFC's presence at film industry events in Los Angeles. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the executive's visits, finding and organizing industry events, promoting AFC, and managing other team members in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate executive's visits to Los Angeles, including scheduling meetings.
- Identify and organize film industry events for the team to attend, ensuring a strong AFC presence.
- Promote AFC at various industry events, networking with professionals and fostering relationships.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies for AFC events.
- Coordinate with other team members in Los Angeles to ensure seamless execution of events and promotions.
- Assist in the planning and execution of AFC events, including logistics, setup, and breakdown.
- Maintain a calendar of events and manage RSVPs and guest lists.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the CEO and senior management on event activities and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event coordination, preferably within the film industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Must be based in Los Angeles, CA, and have a strong knowledge of the local film industry.
