Job Description:

Partners with hiring manager to determine staffing needs.

Screens resumes, interviews candidates, administers appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings.

Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, Campus recruitment, network with medical schools etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.

Develops advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.

Ensure our health centers have the personnel need to deliver quality patient care (Medical Assistants, LPN, RN, NP, PNP, and Physicians)

Recruiting allied and social service staff (Case Managers, Care Coordinator, CASAC, Patient Care Representatives, Call Center Rep)

Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.

Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.

Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.

Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, employment agreements).

Works with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.

Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

Participates in weekly Health Services Staff Meetings

Coordinates with the Credentialing Specialist to ensure all clinical hires are credentialed before start date.

Familiarize and visit all of the Residential/Health Services sites within all boroughs.

Conduct site visits with Health Services candidates.

Establishing partnerships allied schools and colleges (Medical and Nursing Schools) while increasing the number of referrals from educational institutions.
Hybrid, with some traveling up to 75%
Preferred Education and Experience:

At least two years of prior recruiting experience within FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center).

In-depth knowledge of the health center placements with the ability to effectively understand and discuss relevant skills and qualifications of healthcare professionals
