Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment and machinery
- Perform routine tasks associated with unit turns and be able to adhere to a punch list
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various properties
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and document maintenance activities
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and necessary supplies
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in maintenance operations
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Leadership skills with the ability to supervise others is a plus
