Emergency Operations Lead supporting the CDC's Division of Emergency Operations by writing, coordinating, and developing emergency weekly response plans. Gather information to conduct after-action reviews and prepare after-action reports at least 1-3 a month. HOW AN EMERGENCY OPERATIONS LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Writing, coordinating, and developing emergency weekly response plans.

Send requests for inputs to weekly Situation Reports
-
Compile inputs from response task forces into weekly Situation Reports.

Submit draft Situation Reports to Planning Section Chief for review and approval.

Coordinate completed Situation Reports and Incident Action Plans with EOC Operations

Maintain reports in established SharePoint and shared drive locations
-
Assist in developing and updating the response Incident Action Plans.

Review situation reports for trends in response activities
-
Review reports and briefings from internal and external sources to identify trends.
-
Review current CDC response plans to identify areas which need to be updated based on the current response.
-
Assist/develop task force/response transition efforts.

Develop PowerPoint and other briefing materials for meetings and conference calls
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor's of Science / B.S. Degree at a minimum is required.

Required Experience: 5+ years of related Emergency / Response Operations experience as outlined above

Required Technical Skills: MS Office, Teams, Zoom, Sharepoint

Required Skills and Abilities: Outstanding written and oral communication skills, development of project schedules and reports, emergency management experience

Highley Desired Skills: Public health experience, CDC experience, Emergency Operations experience.

Location: Remote must live in Atlanta, GA metro area.

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $70,550 - $95,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
