:
The Legal Assistant I performs administrative support functions on the Legal team.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Respond to all time-sensitive tasks in an efficient and timely manner.

Assist with initiating and tracking legal cases by inputting new legal matters into case management system within 24 hours of receipt.

Gather documents and review document uploads for accuracy in case management system.

Compile, organize, and submit highly confidential legal document packages to external parties.

Review, scan and track a variety of legal notices and case filings with a high level of attention to detail.

Draft and proofread business communications.

Prepare bi-weekly case management update reports.

Perform legal research and other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.

An interest in learning legal and mortgage lending terminology and procedures.

Experience with MS Office and the ability to learn new software programs.

Excellent organization and communication skills.
-
The ability to work independently with a strong attention to detail.
-
This position requires on-site attendance.
