Key Responsibilities:
1. Formulate and enact maintenance policies, protocols, and initiatives aimed at augmenting equipment reliability and uptime.
2. Provide astute leadership to a cadre of maintenance technicians, offering direction, training, and constructive feedback to engender peak productivity and efficacy.
3. Devise comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules and orchestrate maintenance endeavors to mitigate production interruptions and downtime.
4. Vigilantly monitor equipment performance and undertake diagnostic measures to resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions, pinpointing root causes and instituting remedial measures.
5. Exercise prudent stewardship of maintenance budgets, expenditures, and spare parts inventory to optimize resource allocation and minimize costs.
6. Foster synergistic collaboration with production managers and engineers to delineate maintenance priorities and fortify production schedules.
7. Implement and uphold a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to meticulously track work orders, maintenance chronicles, and equipment performance metrics, with a particular focus on PLC-based systems.
8. Ensconce compliance with safety regulations and espouse a pervasive culture of safety consciousness amongst maintenance personnel.
9. Evaluate nascent technologies and equipment upgrades to ameliorate operational efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, with a specialized emphasis on PLC-driven automation.
10. Galvanize continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, to refine maintenance workflows and heighten overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or cognate discipline; or commensurate professional experience.
