Are you a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a dynamic opportunity to deliver exceptional patient care outside the confines of a traditional clinical setting? We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team! You will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of assigned patients.
Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
- Provide mobile intravenous (IV) therapy services to patients in various settings including homes, offices, and community centers.
- Assess patient needs, administer prescribed medications, and monitor patient responses during IV therapy.
- Ensure the safe and accurate administration of IV medications and fluids while adhering to established protocols and standards of practice.
- Educate patients and caregivers on IV therapy procedures, medication management, and potential side effects.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, pharmacists, and other nurses, to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Adhere to regulatory requirements, infection control protocols, and safety guidelines to ensure patient and staff well-being.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in infusion therapy or home health.
- Certification in Intravenous Therapy (CRNI) is preferred.
- Strong assessment, problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a mobile healthcare environment.
- Compassionate demeanor and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Job Types: Part-time, Travel nursing, PRN, Per diem
Pay: $22.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 1 per week
