Description:
The Catering Event Coordinator will be responsible for catering sales and production in each store. They will provide and model exceptional guest service. Their primary responsibility is securing catering orders, generating BEO’s, collecting payment, coordinating the work load, logistics, growing catering sales and supporting the prepared foods department.

Must have a love of natural, organic and specialty food.
Ability to sell Catering services.
Must have a minimum of two years managerial experience.
Ability to oversee, organize team and execute events.
Team player, involved at any level to ensure client expectations are exceeded.
Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Must have a strong understanding of catering operations.
An associate’s degree in catering or food service strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and Holidays.
Stand and walk for up to 4 hours without a break.
Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift loads, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, push and pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.
What you will do:
Model and provide exceptional Client Service.
Oversee the successful completion of In-Store Catering.
Effectively resolve Client issues.
Meet deadlines in regards to catering preparation.
Generate a folder with BEO & follow up comments for each catering (actual quantities, performance notes, time adjustments, positive performance points, areas to improve) that takes place.
Having I-Pad charged and ready for presentation with menus, testimonials, note pad, and tape measure for any face to face meeting with potential Client.
Generating menu for clients with accurate pricing, menu descriptions, and labor.
Making sure all BEOs are accurate per the BEO SOP and are distributed to proper team members & hung in proper boards in prepared foods department.
Following up with Client, as needed to gain any feedback.
Must process all invoices for accounting purposes in a timely manner.
Successfully acquire new catering Clients.
Effectively communicate with Clients, Team Members and Store Leadership.
Thorough knowledge of all relevant Plum Market policies and standards.
