Overview:
As a Respite Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals in need of respite care services. You will work in a compassionate and empathetic manner to assist individuals requiring temporary relief from caregiving responsibilities.
Duties:
- Provide respite care services to individuals in need, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Pick up client for a community outing
- In-home respite for those not comfortable in leaving their home
- Weekly activities in a group setting such as pizza & paint, arts & crafts, etc.
- Provide companionship and engage with clients during the outing
Experience:
- Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) and Bi-Cultural is preferred.
