FSLA Status: Part-time, Non-Exempt (15-25 hours a week)
Reports To: Chief Admissions & Enrollment Officer
Start Date: September 2024
Salary Range: $40/hour

St. Luke’s School seeks an education professional to assess the readiness of candidates applying to our Lower and Upper School programs. This is a seasonal position from September through March.
Responsibilities & Expectations
- Conduct and write up assessments for candidates to our Lower School (Junior Kindergarten - Grade 4) and Upper School (Grades 5-8) divisions;
- Collaborate with faculty members and admissions staff to review and update assessments;
- Conduct and write up observations for preschool and nursery school visits throughout New York City to observe applicants;
- Participate and assist with the group play sessions (playdates) - two Saturdays (November & December) and one Wednesday.
- Assist with admissions tasks including but not limited to database updates, tours, admissions event help, etc.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite. Technological savvy and strong proficiency in Google environment, Excel, and database programs.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education
- Knowledge and comfort with admissions assessment for students ages four through twelve
- A minimum of two years of early childhood or lower school classroom experience, preferably in an independent school
