Position Overview: As the Outlets Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our F&B operations. While previous experience in restaurant, bar, or banquet management is desirable, we are also open to candidates who are early in their career and eager to learn and grow with us. Our ideal candidate will be well-rounded in all facets of restaurant, bar, and banquet operations, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and exceeding guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant, bar, and banquet operations, optimizing efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Manage a modest 2,500 sq ft function space with the goal of positioning our hotel as the premier destination for small meetings and events.
- Demonstrate tenacity in service delivery, ensuring that every guest experience exceeds expectations.
- Implement and maintain rigorous financial controls and procedures to maximize profitability.
- Foster collaboration and communication with culinary and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Display flexibility and willingness to assist in any area of the operation as needed to meet business demands.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and customer service-oriented environment; to perform duties under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner; to work as a part of a team as well as complete assignments independently; to take instructions from General Manager; to exercise problem solving skills and to interact with co‐workers, General Manager, guests and the public in a professional and pleasant manner.
- Maintains communication with Chef. Understands menu prior to opening and is aware of changes during service. Understands timing of various items.
- Be knowledgeable of all menu items, garnish, contents and preparation methods. Be prepared to answer any guest questions about the menu in a direct, concise way.
- Be knowledgeable of the wine list, cocktails and bar including wine selections.
- Knowledgeable on computer terminal, POS System, verifying payroll. Responsible for forecasting and scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Solid understanding of financial principles and experience with budget management.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
