POSITION SUMMARY: Performs a variety of surgical assisting duties to promote quality care for the patient in a stress-free, safe environment. Previous surgical experience preferred, but not required!
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Take x-rays (Panorex, CBCT, PA) once certified
- Prepare patients for diagnosis or treatment
- Perform pre and post-operative patient care
- Obtain vital signs, and medical history
- Complete patient notes for consultations and procedures
- Assist doctors in surgery
- Perform instrument sterilization and infection control in the office
- Clean and stock operatories
- Digital Impressions
