Title: Project Manager
Reports to: Director of Project Operations
Summary of Position: This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of sub contract construction projects, focusing on customer relationships and successful management of project timeline and budget.
Typical Duties:
· Review of project scope, plans and site conditions
· Measuring and submitting purchase orders for product
· Maintaining fluid communication with general contractor and clients
· Scheduling field crew
· Coordinating equipment and materials needed for install
· Operating within a budget
· Forecast project progress percentage
· Collaborate with Project Account on a monthly basis for billing projects
· Maintain log of RFI’s and change orders
· Work with and assist the Superintendent in addressing issues and problem solving
· Regularly review with the Project Accountant job status and job costs using reports and information from Sage 100 Contractor
Skills/Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in CM, engineering or architecture with seven or more years of similar experience with a Bay Area
· Excellent organizational, communication (both written and spoken) and leadership skills are essential
· Must be able to work both at a “detail” level and think strategically while managing customer relationships
· Solid computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite and proficient in project management software (Procore)
Position Status: Full-time, regular business hours, exempt
