Senior Planner - Jackson, WY, $94,150 - $131,700 DOQ. Duties include: compliance review for wide variety of current projects; writing of staff reports and public presentations; providing high-level customer service for the public and landowners; and assisting as needed with long-range planning projects, such as drafting amendments to the Land Development Regulations. Tasks also include technical support to the Planning and Zoning Commission and Town Council. Must be well-organized, have excellent written and oral communication skills, and proud to adhere to the Town’s professional values.

Minimum qualifications: An undergraduate degree (graduate degree preferred) in planning, architecture, landscape architecture, or a related field and five years of progressively responsible experience in resort planning, urban design, or related discipline with two of those years serving in a senior level position.
Principal Planner - Jackson WY, $103,700 - $145,300 DOQ. Duties include: managing development projects of highest complexity, including some long-range planning projects (housing transportation, and sustainability); general oversight and mentoring of other planners; managing updates to the Land Development Regulations, including consultants; researching and writing technical reports; presenting high-level projects to a wide variety of boards; maintaining good relationships with other departments and agencies; and supporting the Planning Director. Must be well-organized, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proud to adhere to the Town’s professional values.
