Our Assistant Director of Nursing is responsible for fostering a dynamic organizational culture and strengthening our programs and impact in one of our premier communities.
Our Assistant Director of Nursing:

Assists in supervising healthcare team members to include hiring, training, evaluating and counseling within established policies and procedures
- Plans, implements, and schedules nursing services
- Provides intervention to respond to emergencies and problems
- Maintains medical charting and required documentation under scope state regulatory guidelines for appropriate licensing and corporate policies
- Assesses residents for change in level of care and coordinate billing for that level of care
- Administers and coordinate medications of residents
- Works closely with residents and families to develop and implement appropriate care plans
- Participates in rotation of on-call duty
- Follows OSHA compliance and back support procedures
- Maintains contact with physicians to facilitate medication orders, refills, supplies or transportation
- Follows established risk management procedures for residents and team members
- Promotes the Transforming Age Culture of Excellence
- Performs other duties as assigned
What you need to succeed!

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Licensed as Registered Nurse in the state, or the ability to relocate and transfer licensure.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in Nursing; Experience in Assisted Living.
- Understands and follows state regulations for nursing in assisted living communities
- The ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership and teaching skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products
