Position Summary:
The Talent Management Coordinator assists in North America programs related to recruiting, onboarding, engagement, development, and employee experience initiatives. This is a key role in documenting policies, practices and processes across Talent Management using Business Operating System and ISO approaches. Participation in Talent Management efforts to evaluate and improve talent acquisition and development processes is required.

- Timely, complete training event set up
- ISO compliance related to Training
- Timely, complete report delivery
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Talent Management Support
- Leads the new employee onboarding in both Cranston and Fall River plants.
- Creates and distributes new employee announcements
- Reports to and provides administrative support to the Talent Management team
- Partners with team to document standard operating procedures for functional training areas
- Leads plant tour project to alleviate engagement participation
- Participates in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program development and implementation
- Receives, assesses, submits vendor invoices for functional area
Talent Acquisition
- Plans, coordinates, and participants in external recruitment events
- Maintains contacts with schools/trade schools and other organizations to find and attract candidates
- Reviews job information for positions and inputs into Applicant Tracking System to post job advertisements to recruit talent
- Screens applicants for hiring managers
- Conducts initial phone-screen interviews for assigned openings
- Contacts applicants to schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Drafts offers for successful candidates
- Processes background checks, employment verifications and new hire paperwork
- Works with incoming employees throughout the hiring process
- Prepares reports on new hire metrics
Employee Engagement & Development
- Leads the new hire onboarding including scheduling, ordering, and preparation of documents; facilitate all or parts of onboarding session; contributes ideas to improve onboarding experience
- Validates Learning Management System (LMS) uploads
- Assists with implementation of employee training and professional development programs; collaborates with cross functional contacts to set up training events
- Works with Production teams to schedule training; promotes participation in events and training with employees
- Participates in set-up and promotion of global engagement surveys
- Tracks training documents for ISO compliance
Qualifications
- Degree is not essential; however, studies in English, Communication, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field of study preferred
- 2+ years in diverse human resources and/or talent management functions; manufacturing environment is helpful
- Basic knowledge of recruitment practices (sourcing, phone and video interview best practices, scheduling, comfort level communicating with applicants and hiring managers, reference & background checks, etc.).
- Prior experience maintaining written standard operating procedures a plus
- Proficient in MS Office tools, applicant tracking system (preferably Greenhouse), and learning management system (preferably Cornerstone)
- Knowledge and understanding of basic employment practices related to recruiting, hiring, and onboarding
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing with diverse levels of employees

Work Environment
This position works primarily in an office environment using computers and technology. Verbal and auditory capability are required. Occasional exposure in production plant where large equipment and noise are prevalent. Safety gear is required in these areas.
This position reports into the site every day.
