Building Futures Academy is a school that accepts children from 2 years old to 12 th grade. Our school has two sections, one for 2 years old to Pre-K and an Academy for kindergaten to 12th grade. Our school uses the homeschool curriculum "School of Tomorrow ACE P.A.C.E.S."

We are searching for strong, creative, fun, and charismatic teachers and assistant teachers. They must be able to provide each child with a developmentally and academically enriched learning experience in a safe, nurturing environment while striving to meet the company’s vision, mission, and core values. This individual must possess the skills to work with a team as well as independently and be motivated take ownership of your classroom.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to create engaging lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development.
- Support the lead teacher in maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
- Provide individualized attention and support to children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtime, naptime, and toileting.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Help supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtime.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in a daycare or preschool setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues, parents, and children.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
