We are currently seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Case Manager with heavy focus and encouragement on developing a long-term career path for professional growth within the firm.
We are looking for a Mid or Senior-Level Case Manager who wants to join high-energy legal team that is on the forefront of litigating and trying cases with ambitions of trying bigger and bigger cases that will affect change in the industry. You must be PUNCTUAL, reliable, passionate, self-motivated, a team-player, and have significant experience as a Case Manager at a personal injury law firm.
The ideal candidate will need 3-5 years of experience handling litigation cases in a personal injury firm with duties such as;
- Initial preparation of case files, client management, requesting and negotiating reductions, managing and negotiating liens, client communication, and satisfaction, and ordering and organizing medical bills and records under affidavit in-house and by third-parties.
- Reviewing medical and billing record affidavits for completion, ascertaining deficiencies and prepping for discovery.
- Analyzing and organizing information into charts for a bird’s eye view.
- Monitoring clients' treatment statuses to ensure compliance and progression of their case and coordinating.
- Calling insurance companies and setting up claims and recording information gathered.
- Submitting and keeping track of invoices that require attorney approval and sending attorneys’ approvals to invoicing for further processing.
- Updating all clients’ charts; MEDS, DWQ, & DISCOVERY
- Notifying assigned paralegals when their assistance is needed in any aspect of the litigation process.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required; Some college experience is a plus.
- Must be bilingual.
- Needles experience preferred but is not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have experience in a busy professional setting.
- Must be organized and adept in planning and multi-tasking.
- Attention to detail (i.e., able to prioritize and complete work by deadlines)
- Must be able to take initiative without instruction unless required.
- Team player.
