JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for inspecting and supervising the housekeeping staff, rooms, and public areas. In addition, the Housekeeping Supervisor will provide all guests with quality services and a clean, safe environment throughout their stay.

- Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Peachtree Hospitality Management standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
- Maintain high standards or appearance and grooming, which include wearing a correct name tag when working.
- Have knowledge and understanding of all department policies and procedures.
- Always comply with Peachtree Hospitality Management standards and policies to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping department
- Planning, organizing and directing team members to ensure the highest degree of guest satisfaction.
- Supervises all housekeeping employees.
- Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within Housekeeping department.
- Oversee and conduct guest room inspections
- Assists housekeepers with daily tasks when needed
- Ensure that public areas, guest rooms and heart of the house areas are cleaned to Peachtree
Hospitality Management standards.
- Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to assigned staff and review priorities
Competencies
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, both oral and written.
- Must be able to work well in stressful, high pressured situations including the ability to handle guest complaints and disputes and resolve them to satisfactory results.
- Must have a strong attention to detail.
Physical Demands
- Long hours sometimes required.
- Medium work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to stand for long hours at a time.
Travel Required
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED certificate is preferred, and/or equivalent work experience.
- One (1) year of hotel experience preferred but not required.
