Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow. Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children
- Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activities
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members
- Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
- Observe and document children's progress and behavior
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop curriculum and share ideas
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or childcare is preferred
- Knowledge of infant care, preschool, and early childhood education principles
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics and behavior effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in early childhood education or related field is preferred
