Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to oversee all functions of our HR department. This pivotal role involves leading recruitment efforts, managing employee onboarding and training, administering payroll and benefits, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead recruitment initiatives, including interviewing and hiring suitable candidates, in collaboration with departmental managers to identify required skills and competencies.
- Conduct background checks and verify employee eligibility as necessary.
- Develop and implement new hire orientation programs and initiatives for employee recognition.
- Administer various HR programs such as compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary actions, investigations, talent management, and occupational health and safety.
- Address employment-related inquiries and escalate complex matters to appropriate personnel.
- Oversee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and recommend best practices.
- Stay abreast of HR trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
- Manage weekly payroll and maintain HRIS database.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Abilities:
- 3 to 5 years of HR experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate effectively.
- Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred.
- Familiarity with HRIS and talent management systems preferred.
