Position Overview:
KG Call Center Operations, a division of Kenific Group LLC, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resources Director for our high-volume call center in Tampa, Florida. The right candidate for our team has experience with a large workforce, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to see the bigger picture while proving their ability to work independently. You will act as a business partner providing daily HR guidance, tools, and support to the local team, while implementing the company's HR strategy and operating principles.
Responsibilities
Our HR Director works closely with the onsite HR and Operations teams. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, employee relations, benefits administration, compensation, performance management, recruiting and hiring talent, onboarding and employment processing, policy development and implementation, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. The Director advises senior leadership on all human resources issues with broad and current subject matter knowledge across the HR spectrum.
Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for providing human resources support, including but not limited to company policies, recruiting, onboarding, providing employment law expertise, and solving employee relations problems such as investigations, mediations, progressive discipline, employment terminations, etc.

Manages recordkeeping related to hiring, termination, leave, transfer, and promotion, particularly regarding Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), affirmative action, and diversity initiatives.

Collects information and data to assess cost and policy implications of negotiations and disputes. This may include management proposals, pay scales and wages, benefits, working conditions, and other mitigating circumstances.

Maintains knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, and human resources, as well as SCA regulations.

Tracks performance ratings and compiles HR-related statistics for assigned group(s).

Updates employee records with changes and/or corrections in employment status, including salary, position information, scheduled hours, and personal information.

Assists hiring managers in choosing appropriate company jobs to best suit business needs; drafts or edits new job descriptions as the need arises.

Collaborates with Recruiting team throughout the recruitment process; serves as an intermediary between Recruiting and hiring managers.

Communicates effectively with other HR teams and departments as necessary.

Must be able to effectively recommend opportunities for continuous improvement to current processes and procedures.

Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as company policies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferably in HR or Management.

Demonstrated experience of 5 years or more in HR for an organization of 250+ people.

Experience managing an HR team of at least 5 staff members.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while exceeding established goals and objectives.

At least three years of experience supporting management-level individuals.

Proficient in HRIS systems, particularly iSolved is preferred or demonstrated use of other HRIS and ATS platforms.

Able to interact effectively with internal and external customers in various positions.

Advanced knowledge of the administration of leave programs such as FMLA, STD and ADA through a third party administrator.

Advanced knowledge of benefit plans and ability to make recommendations for improvements.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft products to include Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Government contracting experience, specifically with Service Contract Act (SCA) regulations, is strongly preferred.

High Volume Call Center experience is strongly preferred.
Location
This is an onsite position located in Tampa, FL, near the Hard Rock Casino.
Background
U.S citizenship is required.
