Job Title: Agriculture Sales Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential customers within the assigned territory.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Conduct regular sales calls and on-site visits to establish and maintain customer relationships.
- Present and promote agricultural products and services to customers, including seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and crop protection products.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct field visits to assess field conditions and provide recommendations.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Gather and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in agronomy, agriculture, or a related field is typically preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a sales team.
- Valid driver's license, as travel to customer locations is often required.
- Previous experience in agricultural sales, agronomy, or a related field is beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of agronomic products, crop production practices, and agricultural technologies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
